She joins Stefan and the others at school, and shows an eagerness to replace Caroline's place in the school. Matt continues to see the ghost of Vicky, and she convinces him to perform a ritual that allows her to come and go from his world as she pleases. She says a witch from the other side promised her that if she killed Elena she can come back, forever. The gang attends a back to school bonfire, and Damon goes to keep his eye on Rebecca. There, Elena stabs Stefan and Rebecca stabs Damon. Tyler feels that he is beholden to Klaus since Klaus essentially made him who he is today. Elena then saves Stefan from a fire after Vicki tries to kill Elena in Alaric's van. Vicki is eventually restored back to the other side by Bonnie while Damon goes back home. He hears a vase break, and, thinking it was Stefan, doesn't worry. He is pushed back by a powerful force, and as he falls Mason Lockwood appears in front of him.

A senior prank night takes a deadly turn when Klaus comes to see what Stefan is hiding and finds out that Elena is still alive. Klaus threatens Elena by feeding Tyler his blood and kills him and tells Bonnie that if she doesn't find a way to create hybrids in twenty minutes Tyler dies. He puts a clock on it and also tells Stefan to feed on Elena so he can be forgiven by Klaus and Rebekah. Stefan tries to stop his urge of feeding on Elena but Klaus makes him turn off his emotions and feeds on her. Klaus finds out that Elena's blood is needed to create more hybrids saying that the Original Witch tried to trick him into killing the doppelganger so he couldn't create a race of hybrids. Meanwhile Katherine and Damon go on a road trip to find a way to kill Klaus. Katherine is revealed to have kidnapped Jeremy because she remembers that when she stole the necklace from Bonnie and Bonnie thought she was Elena, Bonnie had told her that Jeremy had been seeing Anna's ghost and Katherine quickly remembers that Pearl had told Katherine about Mikael, the vampire hunter who was also a vampire. Jeremy then connects to Anna by asking her if Pearl ever told her about Mikael and she tells him that he must not be awaken because he would kill them all (referring to Damon and Katherine along with all the vampires). Tyler turns out to be the first successful hybrid sired by Klaus because of Elena's blood. Matt, in an attempt to connect with Vicki commits suicide by drowning himself in the school's pool. In a vision he sees her, and she tells him she can come back to life and has a message for Bonnie when suddenly Matt comes back to life with the help of Bonnie's CPR. Elena is then in the hospital while a nurse tries to take her blood. The nurse, being compelled by Klaus takes a small amount of blood from Elena while Klaus is outside waiting to go inside the hospital to kidnap Elena but is stopped by Damon who hears the news that Klaus returned to Mystic Falls while he and Katherine were away. Damon makes Klaus flee from the hospital when Damon mentions Mikael. Damon then saves Elena and promises her that he will never leave her alone again. Moments later while Elena and Damon are talking in the Salvatore Boarding House Stefan returns. In the end of the episode Jeremy and Katherine walk up to Mikael's tomb. Katherine and Jeremy then watch as Mikael opens his eyes.

Caroline saves her father from dying by giving him her blood and has a confrontation with Damon. Meanwhile Bonnie returns to Mystic Falls and Jeremy tells her about him seeing his ex-girlfriend as ghosts. Stefan also tries to find out what Klaus and Rebekah are running from. Mikael is revealed to be the one they are running from but Stefan is knocked out by Klaus after he mentions him. Bonnie is later fooled by Katherine, when she steals Elena's necklace that could contact the Original Witch and goes to Damon to team up so they can find a way to kill Klaus. In a truck filled with the Original's caskets, Stefan wakes up while Klaus opens the truck door. "Welcome back to Mystic Falls," Klaus says.

The Hybrid - The Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 2

Elena and Alaric secretly head to Tennessee were they believe Klaus is trying to create hybrid slaves and on the way Damon joins them. Ray and his werewolf pack begin to suffer after Klaus all turned them to hybrids. Eventually Klaus's attempt to turn them into hybrids fails because of Elena who is still alive. Unknown to him he doesn't know that Elena is still alive and begins thinking that Stefan is hiding something. Stefan is then tasked to go after Ray who bites him. Stefan then is told that he will only get the cure if he finds Ray and leads him back to Klaus but has a hard time finding him. Damon, Alaric and Elena come across Ray in the moment and after a few attempts to bite Damon, Alaric shoots him with a wooden crossbow but still unaffected he kept fighting. Elena used a wolfsbane grenade and it weakened Ray while Damon and Alaric tied him up to a tree with ropes stained with Wolfsbane and Vervain. Ray's wolf side is activated when the full moon rises and Damon leads him to chase after him so Elena and Alaric could run away. Damon bumps into Stefan who kills Ray and tells Damon to protect Elena no matter what. Stefan goes back to Klaus and tells him he killed Ray. Klaus then tells Stefan that he killed some of the werewolves and some just died on their own when they got out of control. Seeing the mistake she made Carol Lockwood after she learns that her son is a werewolf not a vampire she calls Bill and tells him to not harm Caroline but Bill declines her word. Caroline locked up in chains starts screaming for help as Bill comes in.... "Daddy?" she says.

Stefan and Klaus find out that Damon has been tracking them down through the reported killings and animals attacks mentioned in newspapers and other sources. Stefan goes back and gives Damon a 'warning' to back off by killing Andie, Damon's semi-compelled girlfriend, after compelling her to fall off a high platform. Meanwhile, Elena's 18th birthday arrives and Caroline holds a party for her. During the party, Jeremy continues to see the ghosts of Anna and Vicki, but keeps it to himself. He eventually admits the hauntings to Matt, though Matt jokes and brushes the matter off. Alaric, who has settled as Elena and Jeremy's guardian after Jenna's death, decides to move out of their house, as he considers himself a bad role model for them. Elena finds out about Damon's plans to find Stefan, without notifying her and confronts him, though he is already upset by Andie's death and Stefan's change of attitude. Caroline becomes jealous of Tyler's date Sophie at Elena's birthday party and compells her to leave. Tyler then confronts her about their issues, they end up kissing each other and leaving the party for Tyler's house. In the morning, Caroline attempts to leave the Lockwood household quietly but is caught by Mrs. Lockwood. As Caroline grabs her purse to leave, her skin suddenly burns as it turns out the purse had been spiked with vervain. This confirms Mrs. Lockwood's suspicions that Caroline is a vampire. Mrs. Lockwood then shoots Caroline several times with vervain darts, leaving her unconscious.

Serena learns about Ivy and Max and breaks up with him and Carol Rhodes visits to help find a cover story to get "Charlie" her trust fund and to help keep her there where she's loved. In the final confrontation, everyone believes Ivy's false story that she really is Charlie and pretended to be Ivy when she was with Max, even though he calls her a liar and says otherwise. Ivy also finds out that CeCe is sick, but keeps it a secret. The episode ends with Max reaffirming his threats to Ivy to expose her scam, Chuck telling Nate that he still loves Blair, and Blair looking despondent in her bedroom, refusing to talking to Louis who is out of the country.

The Secret Circle is an American television series broadcast on The CW Television Network. It was developed by Andrew Miller, based on the book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith. On May 17, 2011, The CW announced they had picked up the pilot as a series. It premiered on Thursday, September 15, 2011.On October 12, 2011, The CW ordered a full first season of the series, which will consist of 22 episodes.

Set in the fictional town of Chance Harbor, Washington, the series revolves around six teenage witches who form an infamous coven known as 'The Secret Circle'.

Cassie Blake is a sixteen-year old troubled teenager who is learning to adjust to her new life in Chance Harbor, after the tragic death of her mother, Amelia. Orphaned and deeply saddened, Cassie moves in with her warm and loving grandmother, Jane. After being enrolled into a local high school, Cassie comes into contact with five unlikely friends, Adam, Diana, mean girl Faye, her sidekick Melissa, and a brooding loner Nick. After her new friends explain that they are all descended from a powerful lineage of witches, and that they need her in order to complete their circle, Cassie refuses to believe them - until Adam shows her how to unlock her magical powers. However, it isn't until Cassie discovers a message from her mother in an old leather-bound book of spells that she understands her true and dangerous destiny. What Cassie and the others don't yet know is that darker powers are at play, powers that might be linked to the adults in the town, including Diana's father and Faye's mother - and that the death of Cassie's mother might not have been an accident.

MEET THE MEMBERS OF THE SECRET CIRCLE

Faye Chamberlain, portrayed by Phoebe Tonkin, is the daughter of Principal Chamberlain, who is the reckless one of the group. She uses her magic for her own selfish desires and struggles for power within the group.

Melissa Glaser, played by Jessica Parker Kennedy, is best friends with Faye, and an insecure girl. In the beginning, she feels she is in Faye's shadow and must learn to face her insecurities and become her own person. Eventually she realizes her feelings for Nick and the two start dating.

Diana Meade, portrayed by Shelley Hennig, is assumed leader of the coven. She quickly befriends Cassie with her positive and infectious attitude and gets her to put her magical powers to good use. Diana is always looking out for the circle and making sure the right decisions are made. Diana is dating Adam Conant and soon realizes his attraction to Cassie. She was told about Cassie and Adam being destined to be together and it soon resulted in their breakup.

Cassie Blake, played by Britt Robertson, the series central character, who is a newly discovered witch. She moves to Chance Harbor after her mother Amelia is killed and joins the Secret Circle, a group with five other witches. At first she hates the idea of being a witch and being in a 'secret cult', but then she accepts her true nature and eventually joins the secret circle of witches. Cassie and Adam share a strong mutual attraction, due to the fact that they are supposedly destined to be together. It is later revealed that Cassie's magic comes from both her mother's side (Blake) which dates back to the origins of witchcraft giving her the power to lead her circle, as well as black magic from her father (John Blackwell, a direct descendant of Francois Balcoin - the head of the most powerful family of dark magic witches) which makes her a stronger witch than the rest of the circle.

Adam Conant, played by Thomas Dekker, is one of the two male members of The Secret Circle. Adam becomes attracted to Cassie as soon as he meets her and has feelings for her even though he's been dating the leader of the coven, Diana, for years. Adam helps Cassie accept that she is a witch and teaches her how to use magic, showing her that it's not all bad, bringing the two closer together.

Nick Armstrong, portrayed by Louis Hunter, is the second male member of The Secret Circle. He lives with his uncle in a house next door to Cassie. He is known as a bad boy with a great physique, which he uses to his advantage. Nick lost both of his parents and is known as a loner in the series. He eventually gives into his feelings for Melissa and the two start dating. After Melissa is taken over by a demon it later gets inside Nick. Charles is left with nothing other than to drown Nick so the demon dies within him, Nick then dies leaving the coven with a tragic loss.

When Glenn reveals to the group that walkers are being kept in the barn, Rick discusses the matter with Hershel, also trying to convince him to let the group stay, especially since his wife is pregnant. Rick tells Shane that Lori is pregnant and Shane confronts her, knowing that her child may be his. Meanwhile, Dale tries but fails to hide Shane's guns in the swamp. Against Hershel's and Rick's wishes, Shane hands out the guns to members of the group. Hershel asks Rick to help him recover some walkers stuck in quicksand, and tells him that his group can stay so long as they do not shoot the walkers (Hershel believes they are simply sick people, and not monsters). As they return, Shane sees the captured walkers and becomes enraged. He repeatedly shoots Hershel's captured walker in the chest asking why it doesn't die if it really is a living sick person. He then shoots it in the head as a stunned and confused Hershel looks on. Shane breaks open the barn door, forcing the group to shoot all of the captured walkers. As the group stands in shock, thinking all the walkers are dead, the missing Sophia comes out of the barn as a walker. As the stunned group watches, Rick remorsefully steps up and shoots her in the head.

Lori discovers she is pregnant and tries to abort the baby with pills because she is afraid of bringing a baby into the situation. The group practices their shooting skills and Andrea has the best skills out of them. Lori sends Glenn and Maggie to the pharmacy to get some things for her including abortion pills. Maggie gets attacked by a walker at the pharmacy. Glenn kills it and in a fury Maggie yells at Lori for almost getting Glenn and her killed. Maggie also reveals that the walkers inside the barn are family members. Hershel explains to Dale that the walkers are "still people"; that they are merely sick and are being contained so that they can be cured in the future. Shane and Andrea go out to look for Sophia only to be surrounded by walkers. Andrea and Shane take them out and flee, and on the way back they have sex. When they arrive at camp, Shane creates tension with Dale when Dale asks what really happened the night Otis died. The episode ends with Lori and Rick debating about their unborn child and Lori confessing to being in a sexual relationship with Shane when she thought Rick was dead.

A horrified Maggie attempts to stop him, but she is unable to prevent him discovering that the barn is full of walkers.

Dale, Daryl, Andrea and Carol arrive at the Greene home and set up camp as Carl recovers. Since Shane is still injured and Rick is weak from blood loss, Daryl decides to search alone for Sophia. He does not find Sophia, but instead finds a Cherokee rose (a Native American sign by which tears for lost children were signified), and gives it to Carol. Hershel takes Rick on a tour; he then tells Rick that he and his group should leave the property after Sophia is found and Carl heals. Rick begs Hershel to reconsider that they leave; the latter will think about letting them stay if they follow his rules. While Dale and T-Dog are retrieving water from a nearby well, they realize that there is a walker inside. Since the survivors cannot kill it since it might infect the water further, it is decided that Glenn act as bait to snare the walker, so that it can be taken out of the well. They succeed in roping and raising the walker but, just as it is being pulled from out of the well, the walker's legs and internal organs break off and spill back into the well, thoroughly infecting the water; T-Dog then kills the walker. Maggie and Glenn head to a local pharmacy for supplies, where Maggie offers to have sex with Glenn and he accepts. Glenn retrieves a pregnancy test, requested by Lori; Lori later uses it and realizes that she is pregnant.

Lori contemplates letting Carl die to end his suffering from living in the world as it now is, while Rick holds to the belief that Carl may yet live in a better future. Meanwhile, Shane and Otis fight to escape the high school, only to face more walkers at every turn. Just as they are about to run out of ammo, an injured Shane incapacitates Otis, so he can escape the walkers. Shane returns alone to the Greene home with the critical medical supplies just in time for Carl's surgery. Shane misleads everyone about Otis' death and shaves his head to destroy the only clue that he was responsible for having shot Otis in the leg.

One of Hershel's daughters, Maggie, is sent to the group searching for Sophia and returns with Lori to the Greene home. Rick gives blood to Carl while Otis and Shane go to the former FEMA aid station at a walker-infested high school to gather urgently needed medical supplies. Dale and T-Dog wait at the RV; Dale fears that T-Dog may have contracted an infection from his injury, and the two search for antibiotics. Shane and Otis find the necessary supplies from the FEMA aid station, however they are forced to barricade themselves in the entrance of the school after walkers surround them.

The group heads to Fort Benning, but are blocked by a pileup of vehicles on the interstate, and are further delayed when the RV blows a radiator hose. A depressed Andrea expresses resentment towards Dale for not being allowed to die in a way of her choosing, since he forced her to save him from the CDC explosion, he feels he saved her. Shane tells Lori he has decided to leave the group when he has the chance. The group narrowly avoids most of a "herd" of walkers passing the pileup, but Sophia is discovered and chased into the woods by two. Rick distracts and kills her pursuing walkers, but she goes missing in the process. During a search for Sophia, the group stops at a rural church, at which point Andrea privately asks Shane if she can join him when he leaves the group. As the search continues, Rick, Shane, and Carl come upon a buck deer; as Carl approaches the animal a gunshot from an unseen person passes through the deer into him.
